About Me

teetüdruk väiksemThank you for stopping by! So you would like to know more about me and my blog?

I am Edith, an Estonian book enthusiast who explores the real as well as the fictional world and writes about it. When I’m not busy getting to know new destinations, I can be found curled up with a book or three.

I’ve done many forms of travel from backpacking to a luxury level of conference tourism, but I consider myself a budget traveler. I do my research on flights, accommodation and tours, making sure that my way will be comfortable, but never pay more than I need to.

I love to explore new cities and national parks or coastline hiking trails.  My favorite way to know a new location is by a foot or on a bike. It gives me a slow enough pace to capture the spirit of the place, step into an excellent coffee shop and soak in an atmosphere. Occasionally I love to explore a destination in a book, but not a travel guide. Places I have read about in stories became alive when in a spot that the author had in mind.  Words and reality get mixed up, the result is so much more than a sum of its parts.
